Messages From Margaret,
by Gerry Gavin
Gavin writes that his first experience of the supernatural was living in a haunted house, where doors inexplicably slammed, strange voices and sounds interrupted the silence, room temperatures would vary by more than 20 degrees, and a mist would descend the stairs! Scary stuff indeed. He contacted a psychic, who told him to perform a ceremony to exorcise the otherworldly pests haunting the house. The subsequent ceremonies Gavin and his family performed, although successful, sucked the energy from Gavin, since all of the negative spiritual energy that left the house had passed through him on its way out.
About two years later, Gavin met his guardian angel, Margaret, through a method called automatic writing. In this method, you begin by writing a letter to the spiritual guide you want to contact. Then you write a letter back to yourself, imagining that the letter comes from your guide. Gavin wrote to Margaret almost daily for the first year, before she told him to share her messages with other people. That instruction birthed this book.
It’s an odd feeling to read words that supposedly came from the angel Margaret’s mind. Her writing style is lofty and different from Gavin’s. Margaret says that everyone can speak to angels and hear them as well. Her purpose is to help us understand who we are, where we came from, and how to take control of where we are going. Reading this book made me feel uplifted and empowered. I’m not particularly religious, but once I did hear an otherworldly voice speak to me. That voice wasn’t my own voice, nor could I distinguish its gender, but it was very authoritative, yet loving and kind, as it said quite clearly: “Your dog is going to die, and then your husband is going to die.” And that is exactly what happened.
The angel Margaret says, “…you need no church… The Creator lives within the air that you breathe, the food that you eat, and the blood that courses through your body… The more you look within, the more you will realize that you have never been without.” I love Margaret’s message that you are far more powerful than you imagine.
